From signup to installed in three steps
Google Play needs your email on the tester list before you can download a test build — so there's a short, human step in the middle. Here's the whole flow.
1. Request access
Pop your email in below. It goes straight onto our Android beta list — no account needed yet.
2. We add you to the test
We add your email to Google Play's internal test, then email you a private opt-in link the moment you're approved.
3. Install & test
Tap the link, opt in on Google Play, and download Cocoon like any other app. Your feedback shapes what ships.
Use the same Google account email you'll install with on your Android phone — that's the one Google Play checks against the tester list.
A few honest notes
Why do I need an invite to download it?
Cocoon is in Google Play's internal testing track, not on the public store yet. Google only lets people who are on our tester list install a test build — so we add your email first, then send you the opt-in link.
How long until I get my link?
We add testers in batches, so it's usually within a day or two. You'll get an email from us the moment your access is live, with a link to opt in and download.
Is it free, and is my data private?
Yes and yes. The beta is completely free, and the same privacy promises apply: offline-first, row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest, and never sold. It's a real, private build — not a stripped-down demo.
What if I'm on an iPhone?
The beta is Android-only for now. Pop your email in anyway and we'll let you know the moment an iPhone version is ready.
